We're a growing network of language volunteers
We love languages, we love not for profit, and we believe in our global community!
We're a growing network of volunteers and we use our language skills and knowledge to support charities and community groups.
We offer advice and guidance to everyone who reaches out to us for help with languages, translation, and interpreting.
Where possible, our volunteers work together to support charities and community groups with translation projects.
Our volunteers work remotely and collaboratively in teams to support language projects.
Charity Translators first started in the UK but we now have volunteers across the globe and we will support charities and community groups in every part of the world.
Everyone is welcome to join Charity Translators as a volunteer.
Together we use our languages skills and combined knowledge to support charities and community groups.
We prefer to describe ourselves as a volunteer community or network rather than an NGO or charity because this better reflects our grassroots and volunteer-led approach – we are all volunteers!
We promote a flexible and collaborative approach to volunteering.
All our volunteer projects and activities are entirely opt-in, which means you decide when and how you contribute your time and skills to our charitable purpose.
